EBay with 32% increase of the incomes for Q3 2011
EBay announced excellent financial results for the third quarter. The company's revenues have increased by 32% to 2.97 billion USD in expected 2.9 billion USD. For the same period of last year, the corporation reported 2.25 billion USD, recalled yesterday. The profit on EBay even increased by 14%, which coincides with analysts' expectations. The pioneer in e-commerce reported net profit of 491 million USD per quarter, or 37 cents per share. In comparison, for the period July to September 2010 was registered a net profit of 432 million dollars, or 33 cents per share. In the fourth quarter EBay expects revenue in the range of 3.2 to 3.35 billion dollars, and for the entire 2011 - from 11.5 to 11.6 billion USD.
PayPal, which is owned by EBay, ended the quarter with 103 million active users of registrations, an increase of 14% annually. The company's revenues have increased by 32% annually for the three months to the end of September. The volume of net payments through the system also registers the annual increase in the third quarter - from 31% to 29.3 billion USD.
Like Apple also EBay, may be a victim of its success, since the average estimates of company revenues and profits over the next three months and throughout 2011 proved to be slightly below expectations of experts. That was the reason to trade in shares after the end of the session in New York papers of the company to register a decline in price by over 4 per cent.
